Description
The data consists of two rounds of data collection and it includes ten individual interviews (six from dungeons and dragons data round, and four from Call of Cthulhu data round), recordings of gameplay of two tabletops games with participants, and two group interviews.
The data were collected via Microsoft Teams, as well as in person, through speaking with and engaging with the participants. The interviews used a semi-structured approach, and the gameplay followed the standards of a typical game of the tabletop game in question (either Dungeons and Dragons, or Call of Cthulhu).
The dataset cannot be made openly available because it is not possible to fully anonymize the data. Access to the dataset may be possible for authenticated researchers under specific conditions. Please use the contact details to request access to the dataset.
