    Description

    The data comprises all datasets relating to the thesis; Parental involvement in sport: improving the quality of children’s sport experience & Wellbeing. The thesis aimed to extend knowledge concerning parental involvement in improving the quality of children’s sport experience and well-being.

    Study 1: Investigating the relationships between parental perfectionism, and youth sport participants' overall sporting motivation and sporting beliefs

    Study 2: Examine if parental behaviours are associated with athletes’ perceptions of support and cognitive appraisal within youth sport.

    Study 3: Examine the effect of perceived parental involvement behaviours, on the development of life skills and psychological well-being.

    Study 4: Examine the effect of perceived parental involvement behaviours, on the development of 5 C's and psychological well-being.

    Further information relating to the datasets is accessible in the Read Me file. This provides information relating to what data are contained within each of the three datasets (relating to each of the studies) along with additional information on these measures.
