Data for- Playing Herstories: exploring techniques in reality inspired games and indie development cycles in women’s cancer journeys

Data was conducted via playtesting the interactive stories (The Body Keeps Score 'physical' and The Cancer Diaries 'digital') for this research followed by a survey. Cancer Diaries were set up across various locations both online and in person. Onsite and online for those who could not attend in person. Data was collected through surveys via online forms and paper copies were provided for those that required them.

Informed consent was obtained in advance of any playtesting taking place, photo consent was also obtained where necessary. A soft thematic analysis was conducted on NVivo.

This dataset and its associated thesis are currently embargoed due to planned publications.
