Study 1 investigated the dose response of weekly vitamin D3 supplementation of different doses in recreational combat sport athletes with respect to aerobic and anaerobic exercise performance (Marley, Grant and Babraj., 2021).
Study 2 supplemented either vitamin D3 or a placebo for six weeks combined with twice-weekly sprint interval training in recreational combat athletes to ascertain of vitamin D3 could possess an additive effect to sprint interval training (Marley, Grant and Babraj., 2022).
Study 3 supplemented either vitamin D3 or a placebo for two weeks combined with two weeks of hill sprint and battling rope training to ascertain the effect on repeated sprint ability and strength in recreational combat athletes.
