Description
Dataset of 114 participant data completed online via Gorilla.SC. Participants completed a go/no-go task twice measuring participant response to the target stimuli (yes/no) and response time when one was made. Participants also completed an ambiguous homophone task and ambiguous word description task which measured number of negative responses given. A short-form state anxiety questionnaire was administered for a total of 4 times spread across the study as well as a trait anxiety questionnaire (completed once at the end). Participants also completed two slightly different versions of a handedness questionnaire to determine hand strength and direction, and a response to ambiguity questionnaire. Finally, participants answered a series of open-ended questions relating to the study. The goal was to gather data to determine if there was a handedness difference in response to ambiguity. The data was collected in the period 17/12/2020 - 23/04/2021.
