The overall objective of the STEP project was to develop and pilot test a cloud eParticipation SaaS platform, (available as a mobile application and through a web platform) enhanced with web / social media mining, gamification, machine translation, and visualisation features, which will promote the societal and political participation of young people in the decision-making process on environmental issues.
Data collected for the project largely composed of qualitative material (e.g. interviews, workshop material) collected with young people and policy makers, on the subject of e-participation in environmental issues. The data comprises qualitative interviews and codesign material.
The dataset cannot be made publicly available because the data cannot be fully anonymised and may compromise the privacy of research participants. Access to the dataset may be possible for authenticated researchers under specific conditions. Please use the contact details to request access.
Funding: The Societal and political engagement of young people in environmental issues -STEP project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 649493.
