Personal profile
Personal profile
I am a Lecturer, a Programme Lead and a Faculty Academic Advisor in the Faculty of Design, Informatics and Business. My doctoral research developed and evaluated, in terms of ease-of-use and user preference, an interactive simulation and visualisation toolkit for cancer cell signalling pathways. My current research activity includes applications of AR/VR technology to non-gaming domains, cloud gaming and games for healthcare. I teach a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate modules and supervise honours, masters and PhD projects developing mobile, AR and VR, and data visualisation applications.
I am currently the module leader for:
- CMP203: Graphics Programming
- CMP425: Games Networking
I also co-deliver:
- CMP105: Games Programming
- CMP501: Network Game Development
