Personal profile

Personal profile

My PhD research is on Sustainable Water Management Strategies for Golf Courses. I chose this project because I am keen to explore and research on the ever-increasing issue of sustainable water management and in particular in golf courses and to explore bespoke natural water management strategies that could be applied to address water related issues.

I am a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers. I work with Angus Council, and I am involved with coastal, flood prevention schemes, drainage and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS). In addition, I give advice regarding the drainage technical implications of planning applications and other flooding issues.
