Marc Kydd is a lecturer in AI and cybersecurity. His main area of expertise lies in the development of human-centred systems to combat online exploitation, coercion, and deception. He is primarily interested in how we can prevent complex threats by making the information surrounding them understandable and actionable for users. Recently, this has taken the form of various projects relating to online romance-scams, disinformation, and deepfakes.
