Dr. Muhammad Akram is an experienced academic and researcher specializing in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Digital Transformation, AI, and Big Data Analytics. He holds a PhD in Operations Management and an MRes in Management from Cranfield University, UK, along with an MSc and BSc in Industrial and Systems Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, KSA.
With a strong background in both academia and industry, Dr. Akram has led innovative research projects, secured significant research grants, and published in high-impact journals. His teaching experience spans undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education, where he has consistently received excellent teaching evaluations. He has also supervised several PhD and MSc research students in areas related to supply chain risk management, AI in business processes, digital transformation, and sustainable operations.
Beyond academia, Dr. Akram has been actively involved in consulting projects, working with organizations on process optimization, digitalization, and strategic decision-making. His expertise in integrating AI and analytics into business operations has contributed to improving efficiency and resilience across various industries.
