I am currently working on the investigation of properties associated with hydrocarbon degradation by surfactant-producing bacteria, in particular, pseudomonads isolated from hydrocarbon-contaminated sites.

Research interests

My research interests are in the application of soil bacteria especially Pseudomonas and Bacillus in the bioremediation of soils contaminated with hydrocarbon pollution.

Keywords: Bioremediation, biodegradation, bacterial surfactants, bioinformatics, biotechnology, environmental microbiology, molecular microbiology.
