Abstract
The current study makes theoretical contribution by developing a model explaining the relationship among transformational leadership, work environment and employee performance. While empirically, these relationships were examined in manufacturing sector of Pakistani economy. The results reveal positive and significant impact of transformational leadership and work environment on employee performance. Moreover, the work environment was also found to play a mediating role in the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. Implications and future research were also discussed.
