Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter (peer-reviewed)peer-review

    Abstract

This chapter gives an overview of the main argument of the book, that is that the water-energy-food (WEF) nexus provides a response to challenges in policy design and implementation for the WEF sectors and a framework for their sustainable development. The collective governance of the nexus, enabled and facilitated by the management of the relational equity of all stakeholders/actors, is the most effective way to implement policy for the WEF sectors. In addition, the chapter outlines the book’s aim, thematic focus and main themes. It elucidates its scope and its distinctive and original element that is the novel conceptualisation of the governance approach to the WEF nexus. Finally, the chapter outlines the book’s structure and identifies its main audience.
