Abstract
This systematic review protocol aims to explore the role of allostatic load and socioeconomic status as intermediating mechanisms in the ageing process. The review will synthesize evidence from observational and longitudinal studies to understand how biological stress markers and social determinants interact to influence ageing outcomes. Registered on PROSPERO to ensure transparency and adherence to international standards for systematic reviews
