    Abstract

    DRWF have had a query recently relating to the article in the July 2009 issue of the Diabetes Wellness News entitled ‘Type 1, insulin adjustment and exercising safely’. The query relates to whether it is safe to exercise, and in particular to do arm exercises when an individual is suffering from diabetic retinopathy. Here’s what the experts have to say.
