Abstract
Universities aim to develop graduate attributes in line with UK policy in order to enhance the student experience, and improve opportunities for employment upon graduation. Graduate attributes are the skills, abilities and qualities that are not specific to a program of study, but which all students should develop as part of their university education Here, I report a project plan to encourage voluntary work within psychology teaching at the University of Abertay. I describe how the project supports Abertay University graduate attributes, and how the project could be assessed in terms of major theories of teaching and learning, and alongside models of curriculum development. Finally, I explain how the project fits into psychology delivery.
